What is it?
Basketball Victoria is pleased to announce the launch of 3XCup - the 3x3 pathway for players to compete against each other from around Victoria!
'3XCup Juniors' encourages all associations and clubs to run their own events; whether it is indoor, outdoor, as a league or a one / multi day tournament (just as many have done already), but now there is something more to play for – progression!
Multiple teams will be able to qualify from their local event representing their domestic club or association wearing their club colours into Basketball Victoria’s ‘State Qualifying’ tournaments in the July holidays. There’ll be eight State Qualifiers around Victoria, of which teams will be able to attend one or all eight if they wish, but from each event, teams will qualify for the Victoria 3XCup State Championships and compete for the title of Victoria’s ‘State Champions!’
To compete in the State Qualifiers and beyond, teams must represent an affiliated association or club, wearing their club colours.

HOW TO REGISTER
One (1) team registration for the McKinnon 3XCup on Friday 5th of April 2024.
Please follow the required steps after payment otherwise your team will not be entered.
Age Groups:
U11 – Born 2014, 2015 & 2016
U13 – Born 2013 & 2012
U15 – Born 2011 & 2010
U17 – Born 2009 & 2008
U19 – Born 2007 & 2006
Team Requirements:
Teams must consist of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4.
Step 1: Team Payment ($75)
Please head to the following link to pay for your team - Registrations are now closed.
Step 2: Player Registration
Each player in your team needs a FIBA3x3 player profile.
- Go to https://play.fiba3x3.com/signup
- Complete individual details.
- Create a password and click ‘Sign Up to FIBA’.
- You'll receive an email from FIBA3x3 with a confirmation link for your profile.
- Once confirmed, you can be added to any team registered for a FIBA3x3 event.
Step 3: Team Registration
Once all players have created their profiles, the team manager can register the team via this link (https://play.fiba3x3.com/events).
- Search for "3XCup McKinnon".
- Select the desired event.
- Click ‘Register Team’ and choose the category you'd like to enter.
- Complete the team details.
