The McKinnon DOMESTIC ACADEMY is designed for players aged between 8 - 14 years who looking to take the next step in their basketball development and improve their skills and basketball IQ. This session will be led by experienced coaches within the McKinnon Cougars program.
DOMESTIC ACADEMY includes 1 x 45-minute session each week.
Choose between the following three classes:
Tuesday Girls Only Class (8 weeks) - McKinnon Secondary College @ 4:45pm - 5:30pm - Classes start on Tuesday the 6th of October.
Wednesday Beginners Class (7 weeks) - McKinnon Secondary College @ 4:45pm - 5:30pm - Classes start on Wednesday the 7th of October.
Thursday Advanced Class (7 weeks) - McKinnon Secondary College 4:45pm - 5:30pm - Classes start on Thursday the 8th of October.
How to choose your class:
Beginner: Players who have finished Aussie Hoops, or have never played basketball before!
Advanced: Players who have done Domestic Academy before in Beginners, or currently play in our domestic competition.
Term 4 2026 registrations are NOW OPEN!
Term 4 sessions begin as of Tuesday the 6th of October Classes are costed at $15 per session.
Please bring a size appropriate basketball, labelled with your name, and a drink bottle to each class.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes aren’t able to be run consecutively in Term 4 due to the VCE exam period disrupting venue availability. Please see the dates on the right under ‘Upcoming Sessions’ to note.
