Javyn Nicholson Signs with McKinnon Cougars Championship Women

McKinnon Cougars are pleased to announce the signing of American import Javyn Nicholson for the remainder of the Big V Championship Women 2026 season.

Nicholson joins the Cougars following her most recent stint with in Belgium’s Top Division Women competition, where she averaged 18.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game across the 2025/26 campaign.

The 6’2” forward finished the season ranked fifth in the league for rebounding, while recording multiple double doubles throughout the year, including a dominant 32-point, 18-rebound performance against SEPSI.

Born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Nicholson graduated in 2024 following a five-year collegiate career with the Bulldogs in the NCAA Division I system.

Known for her physical interior presence, rebounding ability and versatility around the basket, Nicholson is expected to provide an immediate boost to McKinnon’s front court rotation as the Championship Women continue their push through the 2026 season.

The Cougars return to the court this Saturday evening as the Championship Women continue their Big V Championship Women 2026 campaign at GESAC.
