Kayce Vaile Signs with McKinnon Cougars Championship Women

McKinnon Basketball Association are pleased to announce the signing of import Kayce Vaile for the Big V Championship Women 2026 season.

Vaile joins the Cougars following a dominant professional season with Swords Basketball Club in Ireland’s Women’s Division 1 competition.

During the 2025–26 season, Vaile averaged 25.2 points and 16.9 rebounds per game, establishing herself as one of the most impactful players in the league.

Prior to her time overseas, Vaile starred at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where she built a highly decorated collegiate career. In her final season, she averaged 11.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and shot 52.2 percent from the field, while leading her team in blocks.

A strong interior presence with the ability to score efficiently and control the glass, Vaile brings size, rebounding and two-way impact to the Cougars lineup.

The McKinnon Cougars Championship Women will play their second game of the 2026 season on Saturday night at home, hosting the Warrnambool Mermaids with a 7:30pm tip-off at GESAC.
