Ricki DeHaan Signs with McKinnon Cougars Championship Men

McKinnon Basketball Association are pleased to announce that Ricki DeHaan has signed with the McKinnon Cougars for the Big V Championship Men 2026 season.

A long time contributor across the Big V at both Youth and Championship Men level, DeHaan returns to the competition after a couple of seasons away.

DeHaan brings a wealth of experience, having previously played with Western Port, Chelsea, Casey and Southern Peninsula, and was part of a championship winning team as captain with the Western Port Steelers.

His signing adds leadership, experience and championship pedigree to the Cougars lineup.

The Big V Championship Men 2026 season will tip off on Saturday 28 March, with the McKinnon Cougars opening their campaign on the road against Melbourne University.
