Royal Stacks KINGS & QUEENS 3×3 Tournament returning in January 2027
The Royal Stacks Kings & Queens 3×3 Tournament returns on Monday 18 January 2027 at Bentleigh Secondary College, with games running across all four courts (eight baskets).
Following an inaugural event that brought together 80 teams from McKinnon and neighbouring associations in September, the tournament returns for the summer school holidays with more age groups joining the action. It’s a fun opportunity to get back on court with friends before competitions return.
Registrations are now open for Boys and Girls teams from Under 10 through to Under 16, with the new Under 10 divisions giving younger players their first opportunity to join the action.
Players can form their own teams with friends from any domestic club or basketball team, with no permits required. Each team consists of four players (three on court and one substitute) and will play a minimum of four pool games, before the highest-ranked teams progress to the finals.
Places are limited within each age group, so teams are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
Expressions of Interest are also open for Under 18 and Under 20 Boys and Girls divisions. Teams interested in taking part are encouraged to submit their interest, with registrations for these divisions to open once sufficient numbers are confirmed.
The first tournament delivered plenty of energy, exciting games and a great atmosphere for players and families. January’s event will build on that experience, welcoming returning teams and new faces for another day of 3×3 basketball.
Gather your teammates, choose your team name and get ready to compete for the Kings & Queens crowns!
