Sarae Beveridge Signs with McKinnon Cougars Championship Women

McKinnon Basketball Association are pleased to announce that Sarae Beveridge has signed with the McKinnon Cougars for the Big V Championship Women 2026 season.

Beveridge returns to the Cougars after spending the past two seasons with the Bulleen Boomers, where she was part of a championship winning team under incoming Head Coach Mason Rogers in 2025.

Having previously played with McKinnon in 2023, Beveridge’s signing brings both familiarity and valuable experience back into the club’s Championship Women program.

During the 2025 season, Beveridge averaged 12.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, more than doubling her scoring output from the 2024 campaign.

Her return adds experience, offensive punch and continuity to the Cougars lineup as preparations continue for the 2026 Championship Women season.

The Big V Championship Women 2026 season will tip off on Sunday 29 March, with the McKinnon Cougars opening their campaign at home against the Sherbrooke Suns.
