Throwback Round Celebrates 35 Years Strong

McKinnon Basketball is celebrating 35 Years Strong this week, with a range of initiatives recognising the Association's proud history and the people, moments and milestones that have shaped the club since 1991.

The week's celebrations will peak with McKinnon's Big V home games taking centre stage on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July. Supporters are encouraged to head to Bentleigh Secondary College, the former home of McKinnon Basketball, for a nostalgic weekend celebrating 35 years of Cougar basketball.

Adding to the occasion, McKinnon's Big V teams will wear specially designed throwback uniforms inspired by one of the club's most iconic playing strips, while supporters can purchase a limited-edition '35 Years Strong' commemorative T-shirt throughout the weekend, while stocks last.

Throughout the week, McKinnon Basketball will also share historic photos, stories and memories across its social media channels, celebrating the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who have helped build the club over the past 35 years.
