Update to MBA Domestic Competitions Operations Team
Dear Members,
Dear Members,
McKinnon Basketball Association would like to share an update with the MBA Domestic Competition community following some recent changes within our front office operations team.
Following Adele Mete’s recent resignation, we would like to sincerely thank her for her contribution over the past five years. Adele has played an important role in the growth and delivery of our domestic competitions, building strong relationships across our clubs and supporting so many players, families and volunteers along the way.
MBA General Manager Anita Ledger shared “Adele has been an incredibly valued member of our team over a long period of time. The care and consistency she brought to her role, along with the strong relationships she built across our clubs and community, have had a lasting impact on our competitions and the people within them.”
We thank Adele for everything she has given to McKinnon Basketball and wish her all the very best for what’s next.
As the MBA continues to grow, we have taken the opportunity to review how our competitions team is structured to ensure we can best support our members now and into the future.
Ryan Woods has stepped into the role of Competition & Facility Manager, where he will provide leadership and oversight across the MBA Domestic Competitions, including club communication, venue operations, planning and staffing coordination.
We are also pleased to welcome Ethan Clark, who will join McKinnon Basketball on Monday April 20 as our new Competition & Integrity Coordinator. This newly created role is focused on strengthening both the day-to-day delivery of the domestic competitions and the way we support governance, integrity and participant welfare.
These changes are designed to better support our growing community and ensure our competitions continue to be well organised, safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Thank you for your ongoing support and for being such an important part of the McKinnon Basketball community.
Kind regards,
MBA
