McKinnon Basketball’s ROAR Holiday Camp gives boys and girls aged 5–13 the opportunity to stay active, make friends and enjoy basketball during the Summer 2026/27 School Holidays.

ROAR is a fun and energetic camp that combines basketball skill development with familiar games, friendly competition and scrimmages. Whether your child is new to basketball or already plays in a team, the camp provides a welcoming environment to build confidence and enjoy the game.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Throughout the day, participants will practise their basketball skills, take part in games and competitions, and put what they learn into action through scrimmages.

Children are grouped according to age and skill level to support an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Every participant receives a ROAR camp T-shirt.

COACHING AND SUPERVISION

McKinnon’s holiday camp coaching team includes Basketball Victoria-accredited Development Program coaches, Big V athletes and VJBL representative coaches.

First-aid-trained supervisors assist with participant check-in and supervision throughout the day.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring:

• A basketball, labelled with your child’s name and pumped up ready to use.

• A drink bottle.

• A nut-free lunch and snacks.

Participants should wear comfortable activewear and closed-toe sports shoes.

REGISTRATION

Once registrations open, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Families can register for a single camp or multiple camp days throughout the holidays.
