McKinnon trio appointed to 2027 Victorian State Team programs

Three McKinnon Cougars coaches have been appointed to Basketball Victoria’s 2027 State Team programs.

McKinnon Cougar’s Championship Men Head Coach James McKinnon will again lead the Under 18 Victorian Country Men as Head Coach.

Championship Women Assistant Coach and Junior Girls Coach Ellen Parry has been appointed Team Manager of the Ivor Burge Women, while Junior Girls coach Clayton Watt will serve as an Assistant Coach with the same team.

The appointments recognise the experience, commitment and leadership each has demonstrated within basketball and the important role they continue to play in developing athletes.

They will join coaches, team managers and support staff from across Victoria to guide the state’s emerging athletes throughout their 2027 campaigns.
