Cougars Tryouts: What You Need to Know

Hi families,

With tryouts beginning next week, please read the following information for all Returning Cougars Players, Transferring Representative Players and Progressing NPT athletes.

Player Identification

Visit the Cougars Tryout Portal to find your child’s allocated number under Tryout Player Identification and read the Tryout Identification Guide. Players registered on or after Wednesday 30 September may not appear in the identification documents. These players will receive their number at sign-in.

Arrival Time: Please arrive 10–20 minutes before your scheduled tryout time. It will be busy, with sign-in taking place near the front entrance.

What to Wear:

  • Reversible singlet or black and white tops

  • Basketball shorts

  • Basketball shoes or trainers

What to Bring:

  • A drink bottle

  • A basketball: U12 size 5, U14 size 6, U16/U18 Girls size 6 & U16/U18 Boys size 7

Transferring Players: A Permission to Train (PTT) form must be completed online before participating. You do not need to bring a printed copy.

Spectator Policy: Parents will not be permitted to enter tryouts.

All other information, including session dates, times and venues, can be found on the Cougars Tryout Portal.
