Build your confidence with McKinnon’s Domestic Academy

Playing domestic basketball? Build your confidence with McKinnon’s Domestic Academy

Does your child play domestic basketball and want to feel more confident on court? McKinnon’s Domestic Academy gives players aged 8–14 an opportunity to build their skills and understanding of the game.

Led by experienced coaches from the McKinnon Cougars program, sessions help players develop skills they can bring back to their domestic team. Your child doesn’t need to be a representative player or be working towards tryouts to benefit.

Progress can be found in the small moments: feeling more comfortable with the ball, understanding the game a little better and having the confidence to try something they’ve been practising.

With Beginner, Advanced and Girls Only classes available, families can choose an option that suits their child’s experience.
