MBA Domestic Competitions Have Returned!
The MBA Summer 2025/26 season has returned, with weekend games resuming this Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February.
As we move into the back half of the Summer season, please take a moment to review the important information below:

Looking ahead, the Summer 2025/26 Finals will be played on the following dates:
Saturdays: Semi Finals 21/03/2026, Grand Finals 28/03/2026
Sundays: Semi Finals 22/03/2026, Grand Finals 29/03/2026
Wednesdays: Semi Finals 25/03/2026, Grand Finals 01/04/2026
We kindly remind teams to check player eligibility ahead of finals, with the relevant By-Laws below.
22 Finals
22.1 To be eligible to play finals a player must have taken the court and played 50% of the scheduled games within the season.
22.2 The following games count towards games played for finals qualifications;
All games including grading games (all games played in any division in the same age group will count towards finals qualifications).
Forfeits received (win)
Cancelled games due to extreme heat or facility issues.
Injuries (subject to medical certificate) (refer to 22.4)
22.3 The following games do not count towards games played for finals qualifications;
Byes.
Forfeit loss.
22.4 A player may submit a medical certificate which has dates from and to, to be able to have the games missed due to injury counted toward finals eligibility. A minimum of four (4) games must have been played in the season (including grading). A certificate from a doctor must be sent to MBA Administration two (2) weeks prior to finals starting.
