McKinnon Officials Reach Milestones

McKinnon Basketball’s referee program continues to produce strong results across representative basketball, with several officials recently achieving significant career milestones across Big V, National Championships and NBL1 South competition.

Mischa Murray recently made her Big V debut in the Youth League 2 Women clash between Blackburn and Surfcoast, while Ruben Vella officiated his first Big V game in the Youth League 2 Women matchup between Collingwood and Chelsea.

Maty Morrissey also enjoyed a standout period, officiating the U18 Girls Bronze Medal Match at the Australian U18 National Championships before recently making their NBL1 South debut in the women’s game between Waverley and Dandenong.

Adding to the recent achievements, Paul Morrissey celebrated a major milestone after recently refereeing his 150th Big V game.

The achievements reflect the continued growth of McKinnon Basketball’s referee pathway and the dedication shown by officials across all levels of the game.

McKinnon Basketball congratulates all four officials on their recent milestones and looks forward to seeing their continued success throughout the representative season.
