McKinnon Basketball Welcomes New Partnership with The Joint Physiotherapy
McKinnon Basketball is proud to announce a new partnership with The Joint Physiotherapy, further strengthening the support network available to Cougars athletes across all levels of the program.
The Joint Physiotherapy has been serving the Glen Eira community and beyond for more than 25 years, building a strong reputation as a leading sports and spinal physiotherapy practice. The clinic has supported athletes across all levels of sport, from recreational competitors to elite international performers.
Led by Director Adam Joffe, The Joint Physiotherapy brings extensive experience working with athletes and understanding the physical demands placed on those competing in high-impact sports such as basketball. The clinic also has a strong connection to the Cougars community, with Adam’s three sons currently involved in the McKinnon Basketball Association.
“We have an experienced team of passionate physiotherapists who engage with you to identify underlying causes and not just treat the symptoms. We are very hands-on with our assessment and treatment and aim to assist your journey from pain or injury right through to optimising performance. "We also love being proactive by developing strong maintenance strategies and injury prevention programs for young athletes to help reduce the risk of injuries happening in the first place!" said Adam Joffe, Director – The Joint Physiotherapy.
Through this partnership, McKinnon Cougars athletes and families are encouraged to consider The Joint Physiotherapy as a trusted local provider for injury management, rehabilitation and performance support.
“We’re pleased to partner with The Joint Physiotherapy and connect our Cougars athletes with experienced practitioners who understand both injury management and performance,” said James McKinnon, Performance & Pathways Manager – McKinnon Basketball.
McKinnon Basketball looks forward to working alongside Adam and The Joint Physiotherapy team to support the health, recovery and long-term performance of Cougars athletes throughout the coming seasons.
