Sidney Dobner x McKinnon Cougars GIRLS-ONLY CLINIC
McKinnon Cougars are set to deliver a world-class development opportunity for female athletes these Summer 2026 School Holidays, with NBA Championship-winning coach Sidney Dobner headlining a special Girls-Only Clinic, targeted at Representative and Domestic Division 1-2 Domestic Players, from McKinnon Basketball and neighbouring Associations.
Dobner comes to McKinnon following recent stints as a WNBA Assistant Coach with the Golden State Valkyries (2024–2025) and a NBA Championship-winning Assistant Coach with the Milwaukee Bucks (2019–2024), bringing elite-level knowledge, international experience and proven player development expertise.
The 90-minute high-intensity on-court sessions will run on Thursday 15th January at Bentleigh Secondary College, with three age-group time slots available:
U12s: 9:00am – 10:30am
U14s: 11:00am – 12:30pm
U16s+: 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Each session is capped to ensure a high-quality learning environment, with athletes receiving focused instruction, personal feedback and exposure to professional-level training standards.
The $110 registration fee includes a clinic t-shirt and a valuable Q&A session with Dobner, giving participants insight into life inside the WNBA and NBA, pathways to elite basketball, and what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
With limited capacity available, this clinic provides a rare chance for young female athletes to learn directly from one of the game’s most accomplished development coaches.
