Thank You, Peter and Melinda

On behalf of McKinnon Basketball, we extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Peter and Melinda Wilkins for their extraordinary dedication, commitment and service to the McKinnon Basketball community through their leadership of Ormond Jets over the past 17 years.

To found a club and then lead it with such care, passion and purpose for so many years is an incredible achievement. Peter and Melinda have built far more than a basketball club,  they have helped create a strong community grounded in friendship, family, fun and belonging. Their contribution has had a lasting impact on countless players, families, volunteers and supporters, and that legacy will continue for many years to come.

The time, passion and generosity required to sustain and grow a community club over such a long period should never be underestimated. Peter and Melinda have given so much of themselves to provide opportunities for young people and families to connect through basketball, and McKinnon Basketball is deeply grateful for all they have done.

We also acknowledge the pride they should feel in seeing Ormond Jets in such a strong position for the future, with new leadership ready to carry forward the values they worked so hard to establish.

Thank you, Peter and Melinda, for your remarkable service, your vision, and your unwavering commitment to your club and to the broader basketball community. You should both be immensely proud of all you have achieved.
