Autumn 2026 School Holiday Camps Registrations Now Open!
McKinnon Basketball’s Autumn 2026 School Holiday Camps are set for two exciting weeks this April, offering a wide range of programs for athletes aged 5–16 years across Bentleigh Secondary College and Brighton Secondary College.
Whether your child is new to the game or looking to elevate their performance, our camps provide the perfect opportunity to stay active, build confidence and develop skills in a fun, structured environment.
Camp Programs ON OFFER THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
ROAR Holiday Camp (6–13 years)
A fun and energetic mixed camp running 9am–3pm, blending skill development, games and scrimmages. Perfect for young athletes who love competition and learning new skills. Every participant receives a camp T-shirt.
Girls Only Camp (6–13 years)
Led by our Big V Women’s players and experienced coaches, this camp focuses on confidence-building, development and creating a positive, welcoming environment for young female athletes. Includes a camp T-shirt and sponsor tote bag with goodies.
Aussie Hoops Holiday Camp (5–8 years)
A 2-hour introductory program (10am–12pm) designed specifically for younger players. Perfect for beginners and returning participants, mirroring the official Aussie Hoops format. Each participant receives an Aussie Hoops basketball.
All Stars Camp (10–16 years)
A high-performance development day (9am–3pm) designed to challenge athletes wanting to level up their basketball IQ, shooting, ball handling and decision-making. Delivered by VJBL coaches and high-level athletes in a strong pathway environment.
Cougar Cubs Come & Try Day
A FREE one-hour introductory session for child aged 3-4, providing families a welcoming opportunity to first experience basketball with McKinnon.
What to Expect
Full-day camps run 9am–3pm (check-in from 8:45am) and are delivered by passionate coaches including Basketball Victoria accredited Development Coaches, VJBL Representative Coaches and McKinnon Big V athletes.
Participants are grouped by age and skill level to ensure the best possible experience.
Players should bring:
• Nut-free lunch
• Drink bottle
• Basketball (labelled and pumped)
• Closed-toe shoes and active wear
Families can register for one camp or multiple days across the two weeks.
