Troyce Manassa Signs with McKinnon Cougars Championship Men

McKinnon Basketball Association are pleased to announce the signing of import guard Troyce Manassa for the Big V Championship Men 2026 season.

Well known across the Big V competition, Manassa brings extensive experience, having previously played with Broadmeadows, Southern Peninsula, Western Port and Wyndham.

In 2024, Manassa was crowned the Big V Championship Men Most Valuable Player after an outstanding season where he averaged 17.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game. He delivered on the biggest stage, producing 26 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in the Championship Men Grand Final and earning Grand Final MVP honours.

Manassa said he is eager to embrace the opportunity at McKinnon.

“With many battles against McKinnon in the past, I’ve grown a great deal of respect for the Association. As excited as I am to compete for another Grand Final, I’m even more excited to contribute to the greater Cougars community!”

Manassa’s signing adds elite level production, versatility and proven big game performance to the Cougars roster as the club prepares for the 2026 Championship Men campaign.

The Big V Championship Men 2026 season will tip off on Saturday 28 March, with fixtures currently live on the BigV website
